Does it work with our report software?
Yes. FlueNote copies plain text, so you can paste it into any report program, Word, Google Docs, email or a PDF form.
We use ServiceTitan. Do we still need FlueNote?
They do different jobs. Your field service software runs the job, forms and estimates; FlueNote gives your techs the chimney-specific, code-referenced wording to put in them. Techs copy a section, a job summary or the repair lines from FlueNote and paste them into the job. A direct connection is planned.
Can homeowners understand the findings?
Every starter finding has a plain-language homeowner version. Flip one switch in the report draft to copy that wording instead of the technical paragraph.
Can owners see whether techs use it?
Yes. The Insights page shows the most-used findings, how many walkthroughs were done, and activity by person.
Is the code wording correct for our area?
The starter findings were checked against the 2021 International Residential Code, NFPA 211 and NFPA 54. Your jurisdiction may use a different edition or local amendments, so have a lead tech review the library once. You can edit any finding.
Can we use our own wording?
Yes. Edit the starter findings, add your own, or paste your existing wording in from a spreadsheet. We can also do it for you with Library import.
What happens when you update the starter library?
Your admin sees “Library updates” with the new and improved findings and chooses which to apply. Your edited wording is never overwritten without your OK.
Do techs need a password?
No. They enter their email and type the sign-in code we send. Admins can remove a tech at any time.
Does it need internet?
It needs a connection to sign in and to save changes. Once loaded, the library stays available on the device if the signal drops.
Is our data private?
Each company's library and team are kept separate. Other companies can never see your wording.
What if we cancel?
Export your library to a spreadsheet first. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for.
