Terms of Service

Last updated: October 6, 2026

These terms cover your use of FlueNote at fluenoteapp.com. By starting a trial or subscription, you agree to them on behalf of yourself and your company.

The service

FlueNote gives your company a shared library of inspection findings, a walkthrough checklist, calculators and a report builder. You're responsible for the people you invite and for keeping your sign-in email secure.

Inspection content is guidance only

The starter findings and calculators are general guidance based on the 2021 International Residential Code, NFPA 211 and NFPA 54. Codes, local amendments and manufacturer instructions vary. The inspector and your company are solely responsible for inspections, reports and code compliance. FlueNote is not a substitute for professional judgment.

Free trial and billing

New companies get a free trial with no card required. Paid plans renew automatically each month or year until canceled. You can cancel anytime from the Billing page; your plan stays active until the end of the paid period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice.

Your content

Your company owns the wording it writes and edits. You give us permission to store and display it to your team so the service works. You can export it at any time.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service, try to access other companies' data, or resell the starter library outside your company.

Availability

We work to keep FlueNote available but can't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update features over time.

Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, FlueNote is provided "as is," and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages, including damages arising from inspection reports.

Ending service

You can stop using FlueNote at any time. We may suspend accounts that don't pay or that break these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
